Rooted in the Ozarks Since 2009
Ozark Tree Experts was founded in Fayetteville in 2009 by a small team of arborists who grew up climbing the white oaks, hickories, shortleaf pines, and eastern red cedars that define the Boston Mountains. Fifteen years later we are still a family-owned, locally-operated tree care company — not a national franchise, not a private equity rollup, not a brand stamped on someone else's trucks. Every employee from the office to the field works under one roof in Fayetteville, and every job we run reflects the same Ozark-grown standards we started with.
Our lead climbers and ground crew are ISA Certified Arborists, which means they have passed the International Society of Arboriculture's rigorous examination and stay current on the science of tree biology, structural pruning, hazard assessment, and modern rigging through ongoing continuing education. We perform every pruning job to ANSI A300 standards — the national consensus standard for tree care — so cuts are made at the correct collar, dose is limited to keep canopies healthy, and structural pruning sets young trees up for decades of safe growth. We never top trees, never make flush cuts, and never use methods proven by science to damage trees.
Safety and accountability are non-negotiable. We carry $2,000,000 in general liability coverage, $1 million in commercial auto, and full workers' compensation on every employee. In fifteen years of operation we have never had a property damage claim filed against us — a record we work hard to maintain through certified climbing, modern rigging equipment, dedicated ground crews, and a culture that pauses for safety the moment anything is uncertain. Certificates of insurance are available on request before any work begins.
Northwest Arkansas terrain and weather are their own challenge. Tornadoes, ice storms, and severe thunderstorms put trees on roofs every year. Steep Ozark hillsides, limestone soils, and utility easements require careful planning on every removal. We specialize in this terrain because it is our home — we have worked every neighborhood from Mount Sequoyah to Bella Vista, every ZIP code from 72701 to 72714, and every season from spring tornado response to winter ice-load assessment. When you call (479) 555-0183, you are calling a team that has likely already worked your street, knows your soil, and understands your trees.
Community is part of how we operate. You will see our trucks at Razorback games, sponsoring youth sports in Springdale, and donating storm clean-up hours to neighbors after the worst weather events. We hire locally, train locally, and reinvest locally. When a customer becomes a neighbor — which happens more often than you would think — that relationship matters as much as any job we book.
